Overview
To respect the privacy of the project, please note that it is currently set to private. If you would like access to the project, please feel free to send a request via message. The project aims to provide users with a flexible and customizable tool for analyzing the performance of different sectors and portfolios, and comparing them to benchmark indices. It was built using a Flask web application framework and Plotly data visualization library.
Features
Sector selection: The user can select the sector they want to analyze, such as technology, healthcare, or energy.
Portfolio selection: The user can select the stocks or assets they want to include in the portfolio, based on the sector selected.
Benchmark selection: The user can select the benchmark index they want to compare the portfolio to, such as the S&P 500, Nasdaq Composite, or Dow Jones Industrial Average.
Date range selection: The user can select the start and end dates for the analysis.
Chart visualization: The dashboard displays a chart that shows the cumulative returns of the portfolio and the benchmark index over the selected period, using the selected stocks and benchmark.
Customization options: The user can customize the chart by selecting different chart types, colors, and styles, and by adding annotations and labels.
Export options: The user can export the chart as an image or a PDF, or download the data as a CSV or Excel file.
